Music at Church Eaton engages and inspires pupils to develop a love of music and develop talents as musicians. Learning in music is designed to increase self, confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement. As pupils progress through their education at our school, they will develop a critical engagement with music. This allows them to compose, and listen with discrimination to the best in the musical canon.

Music at Church Eaton is taught discretely using Music Express. Pupils are given opportunities to play instruments, including tuned percussion; sing, and learn to read simple musical notation. As well as our discrete lessons, the whole school takes part in a singing assembly weekly to further develop their love of the subject.
