Intent

PE at Church Eaton inspires all children to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. We provide opportunities for all pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Opportunities are provided for children to compete in sport and other activities to build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.

Implementation

PE at Church Eaton is taught twice a week: once by a trained sports coach, and once by the class teacher. A range of sports and activities are taught across the year to give as much exposure to different sports as possible. Our PE lessons use Twinkl as a basis, and is adapted by the class teacher to meet the individual needs of all children in the class.
