LAC are a voluntary body made up of staff, parents and members of local community.

The LAC body of Church Eaton Primary School is made up from Foundation Governors, Parent Governors and Staff Governors.

LAC have three core functions

  1. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
  2. Holding executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and it’s pupils, and the performance management of staff
  3. Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure money is well spent.

The core role of the LAC

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
