School News

Safeguarding

Following a safeguarding course on Monday, we have been practising our procedures if there was ever an incident of concern around the school and we all needed to assemble in the hall. All pupils should now know what to do if they hear the signal and need to ’invacuate’ quickly.

Surprise Visit

The children received a special visit from Mrs Evans and baby Joe on Wednesday. Joe was very well behaved and loved all the attention he received and the pupils loved the sweets he brought them. We are looking forward to Mrs Evans coming back to join us later on this year.

Clothing Collection

Don’t forget to fill the bags with clothing, shoes, handbags etc. and bring them to school on the morning of Tuesday 6th February. If you need any more bags please contact the school office.

Mayor’s Visit

It is not long now until Church Eaton Primary School is visited by The Mayor of Stafford. We are planning to make this a big community event and the children are busy practising songs to sing for him. A letter with more details will be sent out and we will be asking pupils to bring in some cakes, please. We are all getting very excited.

Parent’s Evening

Please note that parent’s evening has been postponed until the end of March.

Vehicle Courtesy

We would appreciate it if vehicles did not turn round in the road and did not use our neighbours’ driveways. Please park on the Village Institute car park.

Shopping

Remember when shopping online to first visit the website www.easyfundraising.org.uk and then select your online stores e.g. Amazon, eBay, funds are then raised for FACES.
