World Book Day

The whole school had a great day celebrating World Book Day last week with decorated pants! We chose to base our day around the book ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ and had a very colourful assembly with all the pupils and staff explaining the decoration on the pants they were wearing over their clothes. The winners of the book vouchers for the best-decorated pants were – Class 1 – Bella Arnott, Class 2Maisie Liggins, Class 3Darcey Keay.

Fire Engine Visit

On Wednesday of this week, there was a very exciting visit to the school from the local fire brigade. Each class had a chance to investigate the fire engine, sound the siren and ask the firemen questions.

Class 3

Well done to all class 3 pupils who have constructed some fantastic Anderson and Morrison shelters. They are on display in the hall and you are very welcome to come and see them.

Visit To The Mayor’s Office

Class 2 had to postpone their visit to The Mayor of Stafford to see his office, special robes and the Mace. This visit will now take place on Monday 23rd April.

FACES Easter Bingo

Tickets are selling fast for the Easter Bingo in school on Friday 16th March. Please send your money in for tickets as soon as you can so that we can finalise numbers and don’t forget mufti day on Friday when pupils can come in their own clothes but please donate an Easter Egg for a prize.

Uniform School

Our school uniform is now available to purchase from F&F at Tesco’s. Orders can be placed online from tesco.com/ues and the school receives a donation of 5% from all purchases. A flyer has been sent home with more information on and is also available to view here.
