The definition of British Values has been used in Independent School Standards since January 2013, and remains the same in the new 2014 standard and applies to all types of school:

Church Eaton Primary School works with pupils to effectively embed the fundamental British Values, and will challenge pupils, staff and parents who openly express extremist opinions contrary to those fundamental British Values.

We will strongly challenge where there is evidence of prejudice on grounds of gender, disability, culture, race or faith.

Pupils, staff and parents are encouraged to respect other people, their beliefs and opinions. Spiritual, moral, social and cultural standards will be promoted throughout the school.

Student Council lead the way of democracy through consideration of all thoughts and opinions forwarded by pupils.

We actively promote the rule of law, and it’s benefits for our school and society as a whole.
