Changemaker Days

Pupils work together every six weeks on projects that make a positive difference in the school and wider community.

Overview

Changemaker Days take place once every block (every six weeks). Pupils work together on projects that make a positive difference in school, the local community, or the wider world. Activities may include fundraising, environmental projects, or raising awareness about important issues.

Building a Strong Community

These days bring pupils together to work as a team and support others. Children learn the value of helping their community and working towards shared goals. This helps strengthen a sense of belonging within the school.

Supporting Understanding of Diversity

Projects often focus on supporting a range of people and causes. Pupils learn about different communities, cultures, and perspectives. This helps develop empathy, respect, and understanding.

Creating Opportunities for All Pupils (Social Mobility)

All pupils have the opportunity to take part and share their ideas. Activities help develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. These experiences build confidence and encourage pupils to make a positive difference.
